Mr. Blair enjoyed a very successful tennis career as a top ranked amateur and winner of two professional events. In 1992, he became a coach of World Team Tennis for Billie Jean King and went on to become one of the youngest general managers in professional sports history as head coach and general manager of the Tampa Bay Action. That same year, Mr. Blair founded his own tennis academy in Orlando, Florida. He served as a USTA National Coach in 1997.
In 1992, he started what would become one the most successful distressed single-family home redevelopment companies in the United States and became a national spokesman for Success Magazine. His company has enjoyed tremendous achievements and is still in operation today.
In 2014, Mr. Blair published his autobiography, Hiding Inside the Baseline, which details his youth and encourages readers to live authentically. His life story, based on his book, became a documentary and was aired on Fox College Sports nationwide in January 2016. He is a member of the GLBT Hall of Fame.
In 2017, Mr. Blair launched Tennis Life, a state of the art tennis network along with an innovative advertising and data network for advertisers.
