SINGAPORE (21 June 2017) – Exploring the latest analysis and insights of the global LPG markets, industry leaders, decision-makers, and analysts will gather at this year’s 2017 Asia LPG Seminar and Workshops on Tuesday, 11 July, to Thursday, 13 July at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, hosted by IHS Markit (Nasdaq: INFO), the leading global source of critical information and insight.

Now running in its 21 ^st year, the 2017 Asia LPG Seminar and Workshops will feature three days of workshops, offsite events, content and deep insight into all aspects of the global LPG markets for attending delegates.

IHS Markit will host a full-day and two half-day training workshops that focus on the use of naphtha and NGL as olefin feedstocks, waterborne LPG shipping and the ethane markets. In addition, IHS Markit has organized an offsite tour of the Banyan LPG Terminal supported by Royal Vopak, as well as numerous deep-dive speaker sessions and panel discussions on various world LPG markets, economic outlook, pricing trends, shipping and opportunities.

“Asia is the sink for the global surplus of LPG supplies – particularly from the US, the Middle East and Russia,” said Walt Hart, vice president of NGL research and consulting at IHS Markit. “The incremental global supplies will need to find their way to Asia, and it is important to understand which markets are growing, how the LPG will be used and the commercial aspects of getting the LPG to the right customers. Registration fees for the 2017 Asia LPG Seminar and Workshops are $1,925. The registration fee for full-day NGL training workshop, “Use of Naphtha and NGL as Olefins Feedstock”, on Tuesday, 11 July is $1,495, and the half-day workshops, on “Basics of Waterborne LPG Shipping” and “Global Ethane Markets,” on Thursday 13 July is $750.
