JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2005--Expanding the retail store-front availability for its products in North America, ParkerVision, Inc. (NASDAQ NMS: PRKR), announced today that Office Depot, Canada, a fully owned subsidiary of Office Depot (NYSE:ODP) will add ParkerVision's SignalMAX? wireless networking products to its retail stores in Canada. The ParkerVision line will be featured in 33 stores in 24 cities.

ParkerVision's SignalMAX line of four-port wireless routers, PC LAN cards, and USB adapters are compatible with all 802.11b/g networks. The SignalMAX line, based on the company's innovative Direct-2-Data? (D2D)? wireless RF technology, appeals to consumers and small businesses seeking maximum wireless coverage and long distance connectivity for home and small office networks. SignalMAX products eliminate "dead-zones" commonly found with other manufacturers' gear. ParkerVision also guarantees that SignalMAX notebook or desktop cards, when used in conjunction with SignalMAX routers, will provide wireless coverage of an entire home or small office building without the need for repeaters, boosters, or special high-gain antennas, regardless of the layout or construction of the building.

"As home and business networking continues to grow in the marketplace, it is imperative that we offer our customers a product that will deliver superior distance coverage and reliable connectivity throughout their homes," said Scott Howard, Sr. Merchant, Technology Division, Office Depot Team Canada. "Office Depot customers rely on us to provide only the best. ParkerVision's products are among the best and we look forward to working with their team to provide a new sense of security and satisfaction to our customers".

"Our products are attracting attention from prominent retail chains like Office Depot of Canada because their customers are seeking quality WiFi equipment that can deliver superior distance, coverage, and reliable internet connectivity throughout their homes," said Jeffrey L. Parker, Chairman and CEO. "Our premium line of wireless networking products guarantees seamless operation over longer distances, is more resilient to interference, and uses less power consumption than those of any other brand on the market today."
