JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, June 29, 2006 - ParkerVision, Inc. (Nasdaq NMS: PRKR), a developer and marketer of semiconductor technology solutions for wireless applications, announced today that it has been selected for inclusion in the Russell 3000® Index and the Russell 2000® Index when Russell Investment Group reconstitutes its family of U.S. indexes on June 30, 2006.

With its membership in the Russell 3000, which remains in place for one year, Parkervision will be automatically included in the small-cap Russell 2000® Index as well as the appropriate growth and style indexes. Russell determines membership for its equity indexes primarily by objective, market capitalization rankings and style attributes.

"Our inclusion in the Russell 3000 is reflective of the progress and prospects of Parkervision," said Jeff Parker, president and CEO. "The Russell 2000® Index provides an important service and tool for investors and institutions seeking solid growth in small cap companies-a primary audience for Parkervision-- and we would expect our inclusion in the Index to enhance our visibility within this community. "
