The EuMC, from 28 to 30 October, is the core of European Microwave Week 2008, the largest event in Europe dedicated to microwave electronics. The European Microwave Conference is the premier forum for the presentation of the actual status and future trends in the field of microwave and millimetre-wave systems, technologies and applications.

About d2p:

ParkerVision's d2p technology has been selected for incorporation into 3G mobile handset chipsets and the company is on schedule to deliver volume producible silicon to its first commercial OEM in 4th quarter 2008 with production volumes incorporating d2p into mobile handsets ramping throughout 2009. The d2p technology provides improved performance compared with traditional solutions in the areas of increased power efficiency, smaller required footprint, advanced packaging and integration options, the use of common semiconductor materials, and multi-mode operation through a single RF chain. The company believes the resulting benefits of lower cost and improved battery life are timely enhancements to mobile handsets as 3G and 4G standards become more widely adopted.

About ParkerVision:

ParkerVision, Inc. designs, develops and sells its proprietary RF technologies which enable advanced wireless communications for current and next generation mobile communications networks.

Its solutions for wireless transfer of radio frequency (RF) waveforms enable significant advancements in wireless products, addressing the needs of the cellular industry for efficient use of power, reduced cost and size, greater design simplicity and enhanced performance in mobile handsets as the industry migrates to next generation networks.
