iMergent Expects Ancillary Services to Add to Recurring Revenue Stream

OREM, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 16, 2007--iMergent, Inc. (AMEX:IIG), a leading provider of eCommerce software for small businesses and entrepreneurs, signed an agreement with Microsoft adCenter, a pay-per-click advertising platform for budgets of all sizes, to integrate Microsoft's new tools and features into StoresOnlineTM Pro beginning May 21st. iMergent will earn a commission for each adCenter account setup through StoresOnline.

Microsoft adCenter is an effective, low-cost way to get new customers to find a merchant's business. The agreement provides all StoresOnline merchants with:

  • A $50 credit toward advertising when setting up a new Microsoft adCenter account;
  • The Microsoft adCenter minimum cost-per-click of $0.05, on par with Google's and half the cost of Yahoo!'s; and
  • A low set up base with Microsoft adCenter of $5 to begin bidding on search term placement.

Prior to the StoresOnline integration of Microsoft adCenter, Microsoft staff will educate StoresOnline staff to train StoresOnline merchants to use Microsoft adCenter.
