New York, NY April 8, Aegis Capital is pleased to announce the hiring of Jacob Lee as a Portfolio Manager.
Jacob was initially recruited to Wall Street by legacy Smith Barney in early 2007 where he specialized in providing high net worth private clients and institutions with customized strategies in areas of global fixed-income and equities, portfolio hedging & repair, and derivative investments while managing over 25 million in client assets.
Following the Morgan Stanley-Smith Barney merger in 2009, he promptly qualified to become one of the youngest and most active members of the firm’s Portfolio Management Group.
Prior to entering into Finance, he proudly served 10 years of active duty with the United States Navy’s nuclear submarine force, where he held numerous positions including Radiological Controls Supervisor, Reactor Plant Supervisor, and Liaison to South Korea’s Minister of Defense during multiple Asia-Pacific Homeland Security Summits. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Excelsior College and continues to leverage his analytical strengths in all facets of investment and portfolio management.
