Launch of humorous but informative “Anti-Green Movement” is well received by influential network of women bloggers

SAN DIEGO, CA (August 11, 2011) – BillMyParents (OTCQB: BMPI) (OTCBB: BMPI), leaders in the teen prepaid card space, debuted their new, high-impact marketing campaign – the Anti-Green Movement – at the 7th annual BlogHer conference last weekend at the San Diego convention center. BlogHer attracted 3,600 women bloggers who gathered to attend social media-related sessions, panels and networking events, as well as an Expo where household-name consumer brands promoted their newest products. The launch of the BillMyParents’ Anti-Green Movement at BlogHer is part of a comprehensive new marketing campaign that will extend through the end of the year, span multiple consumer channels, and is expected to expose the BillMyParents brand to tens of millions of consumers.

The tongue-in-cheek Anti-Green Movement marketing campaign uses disruptive messages like “green is bad” and “plastic is good” to capture consumers’ attention and entertain them, while educating them on the benefits of prepaid cards (“plastic”) over cash (“green”) for teens. Instead of relying on cash, which can be lost and unaccounted for, BillMyParents offers families the reloadable SpendSmart Card that enables parents to track teen spending in real time via instant alerts, providing opportunities for immediate feedback.

Impactful and well received, campaign execution included a series of simulated protests that took place in and around the convention center, where PAGG (Parents Against Going Green) members denounced cash and chanted slogans “Don’t go green! Do go plastic!” and “Can green reduce teen spending? NOPE!” Visitors to the BillMyParents Expo booth cited their interest in the brand was a direct result of the new marketing messages, and daily website visits nearly doubled between the beginning and the end of BlogHer.

“Blogher ’11 was the perfect place and moment in time to launch the Anti-Green Movement,” said Evan Jones, vice president of marketing for BillMyParents. “This was an unparalleled opportunity to personally interact with members of this uniquely influential group whose livelihood is based on constant communication and networking – and many of them are moms. We were able to really stand out, grab attention and then educate attendees about BillMyParents. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and underlined how much need there is for what we do.”

A BlogHer ’11 Gold level sponsor, BillMyParents also hosted an exclusive luncheon for 100 select bloggers, giving an in-depth look at the brand and new campaign, including a mock-newscast video about the Anti-Green Movement and PAGG. Special luncheon entertainment included guest appearances by Liz Gumbinner and Kristen Chase, founders of CoolMomPicks, and blogosphere stars Eden M. Kennedy and Alice Bradley, for a humorous segment on parenting in the digital age. CoolMomPicks, a popular blog where the two moms track down new family-friendly products, has been featured on The TODAY Show, CBS’s The Early Show, and ABC News Now.

With an extended network that reaches over 20 million women each month, BillMyParents identified BlogHer participation as a crucial next step in their major marketing push into the parenting demographic segment this year.

SAN DIEGO, CA (July 21, 2011) – BillMyParents (OTCQB: BMPI), innovator of the reloadable Spend Smart prepaid card, announced today that Evan Jones has been appointed Vice President of Marketing. Jones will continue to lead BillMyParents programs designed to prominently position the brand and product offering with parents, teens and young adults. Under his direction, BillMyParents will transition to the next phase in its multi-million dollar marketing campaign with attention-winning initiatives launching in the coming weeks.

Jones brings extensive experience to his new role at BillMyParents, with over 15 years leading brand marketing strategy and execution across multiple industries, including sports, action sports, lifestyle, gaming and entertainment. Prior to joining BillMyParents, he was Vice President of Global Marketing at Activision Blizzard, the world’s largest publisher of video games. Jones also served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at DC Shoes (a subsidiary of Quiksilver, Inc.) where he led all global and regional marketing efforts for the DC brand and all DC action sports categories. Previous to those positions, he held various roles in Nike Inc.’s European, US and Global organizations, leading marketing programs for some of Nike’s largest categories and businesses, including Nike Basketball in the US Market from 2004-2007.

All year, Jones has worked with the BillMyParents management team to lay the foundation for 2011 marketing campaigns heightening brand awareness with families nationwide, and encouraging adoption of the BillMyParents Spend Smart card. This includes a comprehensive rebranding effort and significant integration of the brand and Spend Smart card in shows and advertising aired on MTV and ESPN. Additionally, he has initiated multi-tiered marketing programs focusing on the vital parenting market, which will roll out between now and the end of the year.

“We are about to launch parent-focused campaigns that will complement what we have already done in the teen demographic,” said Jones. “Responsible spending habits need to be a two-way conversation between parents and teens, which is why we have worked so hard to develop the right messages and have aligned ourselves with best-in-class agencies to spike awareness and buzz. These measures will help us execute our overall goal: to make BillMyParents a household name within the next 18 – 24 months.”

“Evan’s deep understanding of programs that achieve broad consumer brand recognition is profoundly relevant for our strategy,” noted Mark Sandson, interim CEO of BillMyParents. “He has a clear perception of the vast potential of our brand and how to get us where we want to go.”

BillMyParents Signs Rob Dyrdek as Brand Ambassador

SAN DIEGO (February 22, 2011) – Socialwise, Inc. (OTCBB: SCLW) announced today its teen payment solutions brand BillMyParents has signed professional skateboarder and celebrity Rob Dyrdek to a multi-year contract as spokesperson and brand ambassador. Dyrdek will play a major role in communicating the BillMyParents brand to his sizeable fan base, including being featured in BillMyParents commercials, on the company’s website, in viral video campaigns and through social media initiatives. The deal significantly elevates his overall involvement with BillMyParents, which offers safe and convenient ways for families to handle teen spending.

“I’m excited to be the brand ambassador for BillMyParents – I think it’s a great tool that my fans will be able to utilize on a daily basis,” said Rob Dyrdek, CEO of Dyrdek Enterprises. “Early in my skate career when I first started making money, my mom used to get mad about my spending habits, but couldn’t really do anything to make me change them – but at least we talked about money. I really like how BillMyParents is focused on communication between parents and their kids, and I think it’s important to bring these teen spending solutions to my fans.”

Rob Dyrdek began endorsing BillMyParents last year, which led to a mutual desire to explore synergies and develop a deeper relationship. With this new agreement in place, BillMyParents will be a key partner and will receive considerable brand exposure in Dyrdek’s many high profile projects and entertainment vehicles.

“Rob is a fantastic fit for us, and we are elated to work with him in a multi-faceted way in the coming years,” commented Jim Collas, president and CEO of BillMyParents. “He has a keen business sense and a great personality, and he is widely accepted across multiple demographics, which will help us deliver our messaging to a large and diverse audience.”

A pro skateboarder whose career has spanned nearly 2 decades, Rob Dyrdek has over 4MM fans on his social networking channels and has successfully applied his natural marketing talent and strong work ethic to build an empire. Dyrdek is now in his 7th season of television and currently filming the fourth season of “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory,” which will air on MTV in April. Rob recently teamed up with MTV to create and host “Ridiculousness,” a new fast paced, comedic viral/user-submitted video show that will premiere in June. Outside of the reality world, Dyrdek has partnered with Mattel to produce and distribute Rob Dyrdek’s Wild Grinders™, a toy line that was created after his childhood skate crew. The Wild Grinders animated series is also in production with a projected airdate of late 2011. In addition, Dyrdek’s national sports property Street League Skateboarding™ is scheduled to kick off its second touring year in May, complete with four stops and a live broadcast on ESPN.

Recognizing the benefits of frequent and continual communication between parents and their children about money and spending, BillMyParents’ payment solutions were built with a focus on the parent/teen relationship. Their programs enable tween and teen users to safely shop online and in brick-and-mortar retail settings, in conjunction with varying levels of parental monitoring controls.
