Glenn Dobby is co-founder and Vice President technical development for Woodgrove Technologies Inc. Woodgrove is a minerals technology company that develops energy efficient and space efficient flotation systems, as well as advanced process control systems. From 1991 to 2005 Glenn was co-owner and VP of MinnovEX Technologies Inc, where he was primarily responsible for the direction of technology development in flotation equipment, flotation modelling, comminution modelling and geometallurgy. Glenn holds a BEng and a PhD in metallurgical engineering from McGill University. He was with Vale Thompson for four years and with MIT for two years before becoming a Professor in the Metallurgy and Materials Science Department at the University of Toronto from 1984 to 1991.
Keith has an extensive background in underground mining having received a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mining) from Laurentian University in 1986, followed by a Masters Degree in Science (Mining) from Queen's University in 1988. Since 1988, Keith was employed by Glencore (previously Falconbridge) in Sudbury holding various positions in production, engineering, supervision, major projects and mine management until his retirement in 2018. His focus has been on base metal mining, both bulk mining and narrow vein underground operations. Most recently he was the Mining Lead for Glencore Sudbury's Onaping Depth and Nickel Rim Depth projects - deep base metal mine projects. He was a member of the Board of Directors, followed by Chairman of the Board of CAMIRO, a mining research entity based in Sudbury, Ontario. He also spent 3 years as a Program Director at CEMI, a research entity based in Sudbury, Ontario. Keith is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario since 1989. He is also a certified 6 Sigma Black Belt.
Jean-Pierre Landry is a registered Civil Engineer in the province of Ontario. Jean-Pierre was project manager for Noranda Mines/Falconbridge, Aurizon and Goldcorp. He was involved with different underground and open pit project. Jean-Pierre was part of the feasibility team on the Eleonore project in Quebec and prepared for Aurizon the open pit strategy for the Casa Berardi operation. Throughout his career JP has been involved on mining project on the engineering team, owner’s team and lately as contractor. Retired since 2015 Jean-Pierre is actually completing the feasibility study on the Authier project in Quebec. JP was part of the OREX board and as such was in charge of the development of the Goldboro project.
Dr. Byron has more than 30 years of domestic and international experience in field work, research, and senior management experience in gold, base-metal, magmatic nickel & PGE, diamond, and gemstone exploration, spanning employment within the mineral exploration industry and government. Dr. Byron was Vice-President, Exploration of Aurora Platinum Corp. until its acquisition by FNX Mining in 2005. As the initial Vice-President, Exploration of Lake Shore Gold he directed expansion of their exploration projects in the Timmins Gold Camp and oversaw the growth of the Timmins West deposit to more than 1.2 million ounces of gold. In 2008, Dr. Byron joined Nighthawk Gold Corp. and began developing projects in the Northwest Territories. As director and Chief Geologist he supervised their expansion including the acquisition and advancement of the former producing Colomac Gold mine. Dr. Byron was one of five co-founders and directors of Falco Resources Ltd, and served as Vice-President, Exploration from its inception in 2010 until his resignation in May 2015. Dr. Byron is attributed with the rediscovery of the Horne 5 deposit - Falco’s premier asset. Dr. Byron is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nighthawk Gold Corp and he is currently director of Brionor Resources Inc., X-Terra Resources Inc. and Nighthawk Gold Corp., companies listed on the TSXV. Dr. Byron also served as Vice President of Exploration of Stronghold Metals Inc. (2010) and President and Chief Executive Officer of Nighthawk Gold Corp. (formerly Merc International Minerals) (September 2008 to September 2010). Dr. Byron is a professional geoscientist registered in Ontario and the Northwest Territories, and holds a B.Sc. in Geology from Geneseo State University, New York (1983), a M.Sc. in Geology from Laurentian University in Sudbury (1990) and a Ph.D. in Geology from Carleton University in Ottawa (1999).
Mr. Cramm is a Founder and VP of Innovation with Novamera. Prior to Novamera, he was Vice President, Innovation and Development of Anaconda Mining and also part of the development team for new mines and operations. Prior to his promotion, Allan was the General Manager for over 12 years at Anaconda’s Point Rousse Project in Baie Verte, Newfoundland and Labrador. He was responsible for the overall operation of the project including permitting, construction, production and special projects. Mr. Cramm has been involved in various management and supervisory roles associated with mining for the past 25 years (both open pit and underground) including Project Coordinator/General Manager of two underground mines in Newfoundland, Nugget Pond and Hammerdown, that used a central-processing facility. He has a high regard for environmental protection with some associated projects having been recognized provincially and nationally for their attention to environmental stewardship. He has received several awards for his contributions over the years including the 2012 Queens Diamond Jubilee Award and The Sam Blagdon Award for contribution to the community through mining activity. In June 2017, he was awarded an honorary membership with PEGNL and in 2018, was inducted into the International Mining Hall of Fame.
